Ukrainians liable for military service may be allowed to travel abroad for a fee, reports Strana.ua.
The corresponding bill was registered in the Verkhovna Rada , its author was a deputy from the Servant of the People faction Georgiy Mazurashu. He proposed obliging Ukrainians to open an account in a state bank with a minimum deposit of 12,945 hryvnia ($354) and deposit 1,306.5 hryvnia ($35) monthly while they are abroad. It is clarified that these funds are planned to be transferred to a special account of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
