So I will repeat what has already been said by WH and John, that it was great meeting you all in person, I enjoyed that lovely evening we had all spent together! It was my pleasure to take you around by car and I am happy if you enjoyed it - a good company is all what matters, so many thanks for that! I hope that WH keeps nice memories and repeatedly comes back to the Baltix! That Trakai castle at dusk and Vilnius by night were amazing...

Well, I am a bit disappointed if we are talking about small number of photos. But that's not very important - the most important thing is that WH came to Lithuania and you all made The International Meetup (or multiple meetups ) and had a great time together . Btw I hope that this meetup is not the last one - maybe next time I'll manage to participate in it too .

What a perfectly lovely picture sequence of night falling on Trakai Castle in its beautiful setting, Jonai!



It was an amazing spectacle indeed: the red bricks of the castle reflected in the water, then the sky and clouds turned red, and the clear water of the lake reflected them, too, along with the dark green of the trees ... it was a very special evening out there in the country!



Btw, I'm rapidly losing track of this thread. So please don't scold John for not showing more pictures, OK?





Ah, one more thing: by pure chance I met the travel agent who had sold me my flight ticket and hotel on the train back from Hamburg to my headquarters here in Göttingen. So I was able to tell him first hand not only that I was very pleased with the travel arrangements, but also that I found Vilnius to be a most attractive city, beautifully located and full of lovely buildings and people.



Of course my visit wouldn't have been the same if I hadn't gotten to meet so many wonderful forum friends there, but you bet I'll come back for another visit!
