You (i.e. ch1le) may not need them but others might need them (especially tourists). It's a very convenient and quick way to access internet whenever you might need it.

Well, when I was in London, I tried to access the internet with one of those thingies. It just didn't work and ate my 1£. Maybe I'm just too lame to use 'em

Anyway, I found a great internet cafe somewhere near Piccadilly Circus

I used one of those Internet-phone booths last February, quite convenient, if you are in a hurry, yes, this year I just visited easy-Internet cafes in Liverpool and London (there`s one near Victoria and other on Strand, close to Trafalgar square).
