Zgorzelec arena is copy/paste from Beijing olympic swimming pool
Unfortunately not, although it is a bit similar. I expect that the quality of materials etc. will be much worse, but the arena is nice nonetheless, specially for a relatively small city.
Wow so many arenas now in Poland. Basketball should be happy, but polish basketball federation has to look to our federation, our better, to our youth academies if they want to be good at basketball. Of course those arenas are used to other fields, but bassically are very good for Poland. Jelous....

Well it is not only basketball. Basketball in Poland is not second most popular team sport at all.
Poland is voleyball country and to a smaller extent handball. Basketball comes four in a row (and if you would take speedway into consideration, which is very popular (just after football and voleyball) it's even fifth.
Plock arena for example will be mostly used by Wisla Plock handball team.
Lodz arena is utylized by PGE Skra Belchatow voleyball team.
Kielce arena - Vive Kielce handball team.
Elblag arena - mostly handball.
Czestochowa arena - will be mostly utylized by AZS Czestochowa voleyball team.
Rzeszow arena - mostly voleyball.
Zgorzelec will be mostly for basketball - agree.
Gdynia, Gdansk, Wloclawek are mostly for basketball as well.
a few more examples of arenas from Poland (some new and some retro ones):
Warsaw 'Torwar' arena (nothing special but there are plans to construct new arena for 20 000 - we will see)
