I have maybe strange question. I hope it doesn’t offend anybody but now I have trouble. After some last misunderstanding between Poles and Lithuanian I have really no idea.
Is Lithuanian as a former country of Rzeczpospolita consider Krakow as their capital in any historical moment?

                      Puikus miestas

There are two world wide famous salt mines in Poland, both near Krakow - Wieliczka and Bochnia. Wieliczka salt mine is on UNESCO list.

Wieliczka is only 1500 m far away from Krakow! Many people living in south districts of Krakow live closer to Wieliczka's centre than to Krakow centre, some people consider it as one city.
