Tikriausiai teismai taupo elektra :d
A, ir btw - pridavėm šitą objektą Detail2008 konkursui, kai redakcija išreiškė didelį susidomėjimą. Kad nebūtų to jau "imitacijos" projektavimo.
"The main concept was to keep certain monolithic appearance, considering quite solemn function, taking place inside and give otherwise flat form some recognisable character. The architectural expression of facades is sort of interpretation of surrounding architecture. A lot of buildings in this area around were built around 1930’s with certain facade elements, as plaster frames around windows and massive walls. The key interpretation point was to reverse this expression, and make one big transparent wall-window, with hints of window frames. Aluminium profile with double glazing system was used for façades. The concrete elements also are load-bearing, so glazing system, in this case lacking vertical non ceasing load-bearing profiles, was adapted so that it could be fastened in various points to concrete frames, columns or horizontal beams. “Blind” segments between slabs were glazed with painted glass. Physical building transparency also goes well with certain moral transparency in country’s judiciary system. The floating concrete frames in main façade adds movement to otherwise static glass wall and the color finish pays homage to surrounding color scheme, at the same time not imitating or duplicating old patterns."
